The tea is still warm in my hands, and the garden is calm except for the sound of birds and the soft flutter of a hummingbird’s wings, sometimes heard before I even see them. I love mornings like this — the kind where the air feels fresh, and there’s just enough sunlight to make everything look alive.
When I think back, my Reiki journey really started when I was about four or five years old. I didn’t know it was Reiki back then — I just remember feeling something in the palms of my hands. It felt alive, and I used to play with it like I was holding a little ball of energy. No one had ever told me about anything like that, but I knew that if I placed my hands on a person or an animal, it could make them feel better. I didn’t think much about it at the time. It was just something I did.
Fast forward years later — I was doing breathwork, and all of a sudden, that same feeling came rushing back. It was stronger this time, and I couldn’t ignore it. Something inside me just said, pay attention. Right away, I was taken back to the memory — almost like a quick flashback — of feeling energy in my hands as a little girl, and that sense that if I placed my hands on someone, I could help them heal. It was a remembering, but not one I fully understood. I knew I’d felt this for as long as I could remember, but I didn’t know what it meant. In that moment, I asked the Universe, Please show me. Please guide me. I didn’t know what it was or what it looked like, but I knew there was something more to it — and I knew it was meant for me.
That’s when Reiki started showing up everywhere — in random conversations, things I’d read, even little comments from people that stuck in my mind. One summer evening, I came across the words “Holy Fire® Reiki,” and I can’t explain it, but it instantly clicked. Within a few months, I was signed up for my first certification class. After my certification, I started sending Reiki to others right away, starting my business, and continuing my journey by taking more Reiki certification courses, each one opening new doors and deepening my connection to Reiki.
Now, Reiki is just part of my everyday life. I send it to my tea before I drink it, to my dachshund curled up in the sun, to my cats, to my garden, and to the rooms in my home. I use it when I’m tending to my herbs, when I’m setting up a crystal grid, pulling a tarot card, or just wanting to bring a little extra good energy into something.
I pay attention to the signs — repeating numbers, feathers on my path, a song playing at just the right time. I notice spirit animals that show up — often a fox, ayellow bird, or even a ladybug — each carrying its own meaning. The feline energy of the black cat, and even the black jaguar that’s been with me for most of my life, holds a special place in my heart. I love those moments because they remind me I’m connected to something bigger.
I also love creating things with intention — teas, tinctures, oils, salves — most of them made from herbs I’ve grown myself. My journal is where I pour out ideas, dreams, and the little signs that show up in my days. I follow the rhythm of the moon’s phases, letting its changing light inspire my intentions and rituals. Another practice that’s become a meaningful part of my life is pendulum alchemy for healing. It’s so much more than simply asking yes-or-no questions — it’s a versatile and powerful method of working with energy, much like Reiki, and it blends beautifully with my Reiki practice, adding another layer of depth to my daily energy work.
Some dreams are already in motion — like hosting a Reiki retreat in Costa Rica in 2026, creating Astro Reiki™ (a blend of Reiki and astrology), and working on Reiki-infused herbal teas. They’re projects I’m tending to the same way I tend to my garden — with care, patience, and excitement for when they’re ready to bloom.
This blog is where I’ll be sharing all of it — the magic, the everyday moments, the synchronicities, the lessons, and the ways Reiki weaves itself into everything. Some posts might be about animals, some about rituals or signs, and some about the smallest moments that still feel extraordinary.
I’m happy you’ve found your way into this little corner of my world. Something tells me you were meant to find your way here.
With Love,
